Bathing suit Dilema

To get a bathing suit while preggers or not? This is my question. I am lucky enough to be pregnant over the summer (ha), so I get to decide whether or not to be seen in a bathing suit. Everyone says aww you're pregnant, it will be cute... no one will care your pregnant. Well, just because my belly is starting to pop out doesn't mean I want to show off everything else right now. Things are changing and it's not just the belly:) So, should I suck it up and get in a bathing suit? Then you have to decide whole piece, tankini or rebel two piece. The two piece is out, I would only save this for the back yard. So I guess I will have to suck it up and get a bathing suit unless I want to stay in the hot shade all summer. Oh the issues I face, such a hard life:)

Here are two possible options from Target.

Anyone know of any great preggers bathing suits? Tell me please!

The Fabrics have been choosen!

I like to sew, however when it came to Ella's baby bedding I knew this was not a task for me! I wasn't a fan of most of the sets I saw in stores so I decided to have her bedding made:) It's my first I can do that!

I am having the bedding made at Fabric Gallery, which has a great selection of fabrics and the staff is top notch!

Here is a peek at the fabrics I have chosen. I'm going for a modern shabby chic:)

Having trouble breathing?

I really do not have much to complain about, my pregnancy has been a breeze. The first trimester wasn't fun but I've heard plenty of stories to make me feel very lucky!

The one thing I can whine about is that I am not able to breathe! My nose is always stopped up and now that I'm getting bigger - 24 weeks today - I have a hard time breathing!

This morning though I was watching the TODAY show, shout out, and a commercial for Breathe right strips came on. I've never tried these but they are giving away free samples online.
So I signed up and my breathe right strips are on the way.

Having trouble breathing, try out a breathe right strip for FREE, visit http://www.breatheright.com/default.aspx

Enjoy!

Daring and leaves you staring

I came across this ad campaign for Breast Cancer -- for Mothers Day. How does this resonate with you? I was like wow, what a bold visual statement. It is a natural process that happens in life and breast cancer has effected so many mothers and women, so I'm just wondering how women actually viewed this ad. It's an old ad from the Breast Cancer Awareness in Australia. I found this on another blog.

Cross Point Church | Happenings

Cross Point Church | Happenings

Cross Point Church in Nashville has been doing amazing things this week for all of the effected flood victims. While others were setting up meetings they were setting up donation tables with volunteers eager to get started. Their efforts have touched the hearts and homes of many Nashville civilians. Check out their site for volunteer opportunities. There is still so much to be done.

Also, they have paired up with a group of local designers who have donated their talents to the cause. Check out these cute t-shirts. Go get one now!!!

Looking for another way to help the victims of Tennessee flooding? Check out these guys who are a group artist and designers utilizing their talents to help the victims of the recent flooding in Nashville and the Middle TN area. "Everybody needs a t-shirt and what a better way to show and contribute support." These designers have graciously earmarked Cross Point's Flood Fund as one of the organizations to help distribute the funds back into the community. So grab a shirt, there's four great options to choose from, and continue to support the victims of the flood.

I just don't get it ya'll

I don't get the hype with the iPad, Glee, Justin Beber and using cuss words on Twitter!

Maybe I should get an iPad and I would understand.

I've watched Glee and its a show and a musical combined-- I just couldn't get into it, maybe I'm just getting old.

Justin Beber, you are precious don't get me wrong, but one of your fans made a death threat to Kim Kardashian just for taking a picture with you! You are a baby!

Lastly, you are only allowed a certain number of characters on Twitter...  you really have to waste them on the cuss words,  you can't get your message across without the harshness??? Just asking!

Random thoughts going into the weekend!
Have a fabulous weekend!

DIY project

The one project I plan on personally signing up for to complete Ella's room is the chandelier.

Here is the final product. Found on Design Dazzle blog

Looks pretty easy, as long as J can drill through the bottom of the tea cups!  Does anyone else know of any cute DIY chandelier ideas?
