It's official I am scheduled for a c-section on Friday, which means I will get to see Ella for the first time, which means I will be a mom, which means I'm a bundle of emotions:)
I've come to peace with a c-section months ago since I was told almost from the beginning it was a likely possibility due to my small frame and Johns large frame:)
I guess I am a little sad that I won't ever get to experience the OMG moments of going into labor, or my water breaking, or freaking out and panicking over getting to the hospital.
However, on the flip side I know exactly when she will be here and there will not be any surprises.
I really don't know what to expect after the surgery. Will I be tired, drugged up, in major pain....
Everyone is different and I've heard so many stories.
If you have a c-section how was your experience? I would love to know:)

Face Monday with a new agenda
Tired of the same 'ol routinue at work. Try making a rap some or a rhyming song about what you do. Check out this guy on Southwest airlines. He is taking it to new levels in the sky:)
This is too good.
I think I've got a couple lines...
Here's a try: (not sure of the beat yet)

My idea of dressing up these days...
Let me be honest, I'm counting the days before I have my sweet little angel and my selection of clothes is down to practically four shirts (which consists of my dresses as well) and three pairs of pants.
The only thing that I can actually dress my self up with is a fun pair of earrings. I love pretty, sparkly, dangly, wow look at those earrings kind of earrings!
It's the simple things that make me happy these days:) Like a pair of earrings!
Love these earrings....
Just thought I would share some random likings today:)
Have a good one!

This could totally be a fun project!
I saw this on Yahoo this morning and love the idea of bad dress gone good. This little lady has taken bad, old, outdated and large to a new level of greatness with a couple of snips and stitches. This makes me want to take a trip to Goodwill and try this out.
Check out her blog and the amazing little outfits she has created http://newdressaday.wordpress.com/
Have a great day!

It's on my calendar which means it has to be true!
When you first find out you're pregnant you are given a date of when you can expect to deliver. This provided "due date" seems especially far away at first... then you starting counting down the weeks, which makes everything go by pretty quickly. Then you get to the larger digit weeks 34... 35... 36... and things seem to slow down. I'm 37 weeks pregnant, yesterday. Which means I've been waiting for a long time to meet this little girl practicing gymnastic skills inside of me:)
I keep hearing all of these stories of people delivering at 37 or 38 weeks and begin to get a little jealous. (NOTE: I realize I'm very blessed to have a healthy growing baby, and trust me I keep in mind when I complain about walking, sleeping or being plain uncomfortable).
Throughout the time, I keep this provided "due date" in mind knowing she will be here no later than the provided date. Now brace yourself, here is the bad part, some people go past the due date!!!!! I can't image going past September 1, 2010 my doctor provided "due date." This should be set in stone. I've done my part, I've been a good mom, I didn't eat that sushi I wanted and now you tell this could go on longer -- NOT FAIR:(
I guess this is what I get for being overly optimistic that she would arrive before my due date (which could still happen) and overly naive for thinking the "due date" would be the last possible date she would arrive!
This is bananas, provided "due date" is bogus!

Scary Happenings
Yesterday was a scary day at the Morgan household. I came home to one of our dogs, Taysha, who had practically tried to eat her way out of her cage and was experiencing signs of dehydration all because of the activity she had endured throughout the day. (Just a note--Normally John gets home before me and the dogs are fine. Yesterday she had to stay in the cage a little longer than normal and went crazy.)
I opened her cage, saw blood (me --very scared) and here she came staggering out of the cage like a drunk.
She went right for the water bowl and would not stop. I had to hold the bowl for her because she did not even have enough strength to stand up. Eventually she got sick from all the water. I was a hot mess. I didn't know what to do for her or where she was bleeding or what was going to happen to her. All I could do was sit in a panic and hold her water bowl up to her mouth.
Now here is my dilemma. If we don't leave her in the cage she tries to eat the wall to get out of the garage. Yep, you heard it she literally tries to eat and claw her way through the wall. Let me also remind you this is a 10 lb. Shit-tzu. This is something she started doing earlier this year. It is almost like she ges into panic mode when she goes into the garage. I'm not sure what it is, we leave water and food and have fans or heat depending on the weather.
Also, we cant leave her in the house all day, she will have an accident, and we also have two other small dogs that keep her company so there is no telling what would happen if we left everyone inside all day long.
I think with age she is really going crazy. She was 9 years old this July:(
How do you deal with a crazy dog that experiences panic attacks???

Create your own pizza party
Recently the hubs and I watched an episode of Good Eats. This particular episode taught you how to create and grill homemade pizzas. The tutorial looked easy enough and the visual alone left my mouth watering. So, ever since I have been wanting to have a small get together with friends in the honor of this pizza recipe.
I thought this would be great for entertaining. Invite a couple people over, have a variety of toppings and the possibilities are endless.
Not like this hasn't been done before, but I want to do it:)
If you didn't want to actually make the pizza crust you could always purchase pre-made flatbread.
For the perfect appetizer you could serve mini individual tomato mozzarella salads picked and placed within a votive candle holder. I recently saw this and it was darling. This would be easy to pick up and double as decoration.
Im guessing Im not going to be having this shindig anytime soon -- Im 36 weeks pregnant-- but I really want to and that should count for something:)
So I figured I could share my future party ideas:) Celebrate your friends and loved ones, have them over for a friendly pizza party!
