I've been busy sewing and creating cute stuff and I need to get organized! I lay my scissors down and then one second later I can't find them because I've laid them on top of scrap fabric that I just cut away-- one example. I have ribbon mixed in with buttons and glue mixed in with pins. I have what I need but not in the places I need them. It is time to get organized and I think I'm going to need some cleaver organizing skills, freakish type help!
First on the agenda would be to move the sweat shop inside -- currently I reside in the garage. Not good in the winter, not good in the summer!
If it were up to me I would claim the upstairs and take over, but I'm married and for some reason my husband wants to have a say in the only extra space in our 1600 sq.ft. home.
Here are a couple of pics of what I would LOVE to do. Husband if you ever read this, a surprise craft room would be the most amazing thing ever!!!!! Mother's day is coming up!!!!
If you know of any inexpensive tricks to organizing, because you are a freakish organizer, please let me know!!! Share anything:)
All freak organizers please help!

Spay Away
A Spray Painting Tent is a must have for anyone with an eye for trashy treasures. I recently came across this amazing contraption on the Crafty Nest website. I was reading and thinking "...I need this, oh I need this." What a great idea, huh!I have a garage, but this is close quarters for spray painting activities and I hate it when I take my latest find outside and get it on the grass or driveway.
So, my next questions is, does anyone have one of these plastic wardrobes they are not using?

getting crafty!
I've been home on maternity leave and my life has changed just a bit. My day mostly consists of feeding, pumping, changing and staring at my little angel and then repeat. On the occasion I do get the random hour or so to do something for myself.
Since last year I have been inspired to start making baby gift items for friends. I guess I'm at the age where everyone is having a little one. I liked making things so much I just kept making them even when I didn't have anyone to give them to:)
Now I have a little diva of my own and I have been making more and more stuff. She can only have so much so I have decided to start selling some of the items I make on Etsy.
Recently Ive been making the big cute flower headbands and cute little onesies.
Check out my recently added Etsy items. Check back often I'm adding items daily.
Also, recently I got an embroidery machine. I've been practicing so these items are coming soon!

Baby Crafts
As most of you know, I've been known to get a little savvy on the sewing machine. Also, I have been thinking of selling some of my stuff on the side for some extra cash and because I like to do it so much:) It's easy to mass produce when you like what you are making. Here is a look at some of the baby gifts I have been creating...
I'm test selling on eBay. Check out the listings, tell you friends and buy a little something for a baby on the way!!!

Making Extra Income
I'm trying to think of something to do on the side before the baby comes to make some extra cash-- especially while I'm out of work. I love to sew baby gifts like cute burp cloths, onesies, pacie holders and bibs (to name a few). Im thinking of selling on Esty or Ebay. However, I'm concerned with the market being a little saturated. I think almost every crafty stay at home mom has tried this on the side. I think it's all in the fabrics you chose to use that make the items cute or not. I've been working on a couple sets to get me started. Right now I'm thinking 2 burp cloths, one bib and a pacie clip as one set.... does this sound like a good deal to you? How much would you pay for something like this, Im thinking $15.00. Would you pay this amount?
I will post photos soon, just want to get a little feedback before:)
Let me know if you think this market is too overwhelmed and how much you would pay?

February Already
Hello February, I wasn't expecting you so soon!
I can't believe January is already over. February is a short month so it is sure to fly by as well.
Something to look forward to in February... Cards, Candy and Love. I'm one of those people who doesn't really think Valentines day is that sweet. I don't think you should need a date on the calendar to tell me or show me you love me. You better love me everyday! Well...If I've given you a reason of course like you are close to me, family or married to me;)
But if you are a sucker for the Hallmark created holiday (and so many are) here is a funny DIY gift for your sweet thang.

This would be an easy make and funny for any person!
I'm thinking of having a small Valentines Dinner party??? Maybe, maybe not. Just another reason to get together with the friends you love the most;)

Weekend Craft Idea
Ok so I decided to get a little crafty this weekend. Im sure everyone has seen the new design trend with writings on the wall and quotes on the wall.
Well, I tried to follow the trend and make my own with a little twist.
I headed to HomeDepot, where DIY dreams come true:)
Purchased a 4ft x 12 pine board. ($6.00)
Got the Home Depot staff to cut the board in 4 squares.(FREE)
Headed Home... Painted the 4 squares in the color of my choice.(Paint costs approx. $3.00) Used a stamp to create a small background effect on each board.(already had stamp)
Let dry... maybe took 2 hrs.
While it was drying I sat down with hubby and thought of original quotes regarding food, cooking etc, to paint on each square.
Went back to the square boards, painted the sayings we decided on (could also use a sharpie or stencils) and Just like that new art for the kitchen!
All in a couple hours I accomplished quality time with my husband and creative time for myself! Great weekend project.
